The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has reduced Hajj fees for Somali pilgrims.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre announced the reduction.
He said that the government has reduced the fees by more than $8 million.
Prime Minister Barre attributed the reduction to the anticorruption measures the government has put in place.
Barre said that such measures enabled the government to make huge savings.
