FAO and Norway Launch New Food Security Project in Somalia

The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has launched a new food security project jointly with Norway.

FAO and Norway launched the project this week on Wednesday in Mogadishu.

The project will support over 36,000 people in the regional stars of Jubbaland and HirShabelle.

Mostly, it focuses on protecting the livelihoods of the people of Jubbaland and HirShabelle.

It also seeks to enhance resilience against floods, drought, and other effects of climate change.
