FAO Helps Follow IDPs to Produce Own Food

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has stepped in to help internally displaced persons (IDPs) of Dollow to produce their own food.

FAO took this massive step to disapprove the notion that IDPs only sit in their camps the whole day waiting for assistance.

The global organisation took this initiative as part of the Joint Resilience Project.

It undertook the project jointly with the KfW Development Bank.

Through the project, FAO seeks to reach out to 25,000 families in Jubbaland and make them food resilient.
