FAO Says Somalia Needs Large-Scale Investment in Climate Resilient Infrastructure

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) says that Somalia needs large-scale investments in climate-resilient infrastructure.

FAO called for investments in the wake of the ongoing heavy rains around Somalia.

The global organization called upon the international community to help Somalia in the face of rains that have caused deadly floods around the country.

A delegation from FAO held discussions with their colleagues from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on Thursday.

They also discussed USAID’s role in the Jowhar Off-Stream Storage Program (JOSP).
