FAO, WFP, and UNICEF Officials Meet Dolow Elders to Discuss Drought Response

Representatives from several international organizations held a drought response meeting with elders from the Somali town of Dolow.

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), World Food Program (WFP), and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) held the meeting with the Dolow elders on March 18.

During Friday’s meeting, the elders discussed drought response measures with the officials from the three global organizations.

Dolow is a town in the regional state of Jubbaland.

It faces severe drought just as much as other parts of the country.

The FAO, WFP, and UNICEF representatives discussed with the Dolow elders priorities for the resilience program in the region.
