Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo met his host President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul during the ongoing Turkey-Africa Summit.
Farmaajo’s meeting with President Erdogan took place on December 17, a day after he arrived in Turkey ahead of the two-day summit.
The Somali leader is in Turkey at the invitation of President Erdogan.
He joins other leaders from the African continent – including Nigeria’s President Muhammud Buhari – at the third Turkey Africa Summit.
Farmaajo and Erdogan discussed several issues of mutual importance to their two nations.
