President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo announced that elections talks would resume on February 15 in Garowe.
Farmaajo made this announcement on Wednesday.
A statement released by Villa Somalia said that the talks would involve Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS).
The resumption of talks takes place barely a week after the National Consultative Conference in Dhusamareb collapsed.
Farmaajo and the other leaders in Somalia have been under intense pressure from the international community to resume dialogue and hold elections soon.
