President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has called for end of hostilities in Bosaso.
On December 22, President Farmaajo issued the call after reports emerged that the area has been the scene of deadly fighting in the last few days.
“I’ve been saddened at the loss of lives,” President Farmaajo stated.
“Furthermore, the countless injuries, displacement of people, and destruction of property leave me saddened,” Farmaajo added.
The intense clashes have been reported mostly around the headquarters of Puntland Security Forces (PSF) in Bosaso.
