President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of the Federal Government of Somalia held a preliminary dinner meeting for Said Abdullahi Deni and Ahmed Islam Madobe.
The dinner was held on Tuesday evening in Mogadishu.
Farmaajo is playing host to Puntland’s President Deni and Jubbaland’s President Madobe who are in Mogadishu to discuss issues revolving around elections.
The dinner served as the precursor to the official discussions that kick off on Wednesday night.
Multiple sources from Villa Somalia indicate that the meeting between the three leaders was both friendly and warm.
Abdinur Mohamed, the President Farmaajo’s Director of Communications, confirmed the dinner event on his official Twitter handle on Wednesday afternoon.
