President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has expressed his grief at the inferno that destroyed a market in Hargeisa.
The inferno broke out at Waaheen Market in the Somaliland capital of Hargeisa on the night of April 1.
Its cause remains unknown.
Authorities estimated that close to 2,000 business premises at Waheen Market have been completely destroyed by the intense fire on Friday night.
Traders are now counting their huge losses.
Farmaajo has urged for calmness as authorities launch investigations to determine the source of the fire.
