Farmaajo Initiates Talks with Uhuru Over Border Insecurity

President Farmaajo of Somalia has initiated talks with Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta. The talks tackle the issue of insecurity at the border that has created a war of words between the two Horn of Africa countries.

During the talks, the two leaders said their countries needed to strengthen the relationship between them. They agreed that cooperation between the two nations is essential for maintaining security along the border.

Furthermore, both Farmaajo and Uhuru agreed that a solid working relationship between their nations is necessary for promoting regional stability. The two presidents mentioned the interconnectivity of security in their nations.

Consequently, they promised to avoid any situation that could compromise security within the countries and in the entire region. Farmaajo vowed to start negotiating with Kenyatta as soon as possible to strengthen trade and diplomatic relations between their nations.
