Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo met with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Farmaajo visited the Emir at his palace in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on November 30.
Abdirashid Hashi, a spokesperson from the Office of the President, confirmed the meeting between Farmaajo and the Qatari Emir.
Hashi stated that the two leaders spoke about different issues.
Top on the list of issues discussed was the Qatari’s economic investments in Somalia.
Additionally, Farmaajo and Emir Tamim delved into the bilateral issues affecting their respective nations.
Farmaajo arrived in Qatar on Monday to start his 2-day tour of the kingdom.
He is in Qatar at the invitation of his host, Emir Tamim.
