Outgoing President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has traveled to Qatar to start an official visit.
Farmaajo is in Doha, Qatar at the official invitation of the Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad.
The plane carrying President Farmaajo left the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on November 29.
While in Doha, Farmaajo will attend the opening ceremony of the FIFA Arab Cup.
Emir HH Tamim bin Hamad has invited other leaders from Arab countries to his country to witness the ceremony too.
A communiqué from the Emir’s office indicates that the invitation is great for promoting integration and cooperation among the leaders’ countries for prosperity.
