“Somalia needs leaders who respect leaders who respect the constitution,” Senator Abdirahman Farole said.
Senator Farole made this pronouncement on December 31 during the ongoing annual forum of the Heritage Institute for Policy Studies (HIPS) in Garowe, Puntland.
According to Farole, such a leader would be the answer to Somalia’s perpetual failure at making a smooth transition.
Furthermore, Senator Farole called for a generation of leaders that appreciate the importance of the separation of powers between executive and the legislature.
