FAVORI LLC, a company tasked with managing the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, has been summoned to appear in court.
A court sitting in Mogadishu determined that the organization has a case to answer.
The orders summoning the company were issued on November 14.
FAVORI has been sued for wrongful dismissal of a Federation of Somali Trade Unions (FESTU) representative.
FESTU took him to court for an action that is “in breach of Somali and international laws.”
In their court filings, FESTU claims that it has sought to pursue a path of dialogue with FAVORI without success.
