The Ministry of Health has announced plans to decentralize the provision of primary health services in Benadir Region Administration (BRA).
On January 13, Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nur, the Minister of Health, made this announcement after a meeting with Governor Omar Filish of the Benadir Region.
Dr. Nur said that it would decentralize the provision of basic health services in the region to the administration of Governor Filish, who also serves as the Mayor of Mogadishu.
Additionally, the health minister announced that her ministry is looking at ways of bolstering cooperation with the Benadir administration.
