The federal Minister of Youth and Sports graced the final day of the Kismayo Football Tournament on Monday.
Mohamed Bare Mohamud, the youth and sports minister attended the final day of the tournament in the company of Abdihafid.
Abdihafid is the 17-year-old who starred for the Somalia U17 national football team in the recent Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) U17 championships.
The coach of the national team, nicknamed Ocean Stars, also accompanied Bare and Abdihafid.
The minister commended the youths from different neighborhoods in Kismayo who gathered for the tournament.
He also presented trophies and various awards to the winners and best players.
