The federal Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation in the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) visited the Departments of Land Transport on Tuesday.
Fardowsa Osman Egal, the transport minister, visited the departments’ offices in Mogadishu to acclimatize herself with the operations.
During the visit, directors from different departments and their staff presented ongoing projects and activities to the minister.
They also briefed her on the challenges their offices face.
Furthermore, the directors and their personnel spoke to Egal about the way forward for each department and the entire ministry.
Egal assured them of her undying commitment to accelerating the development of departments and the services that each of them provides.
