Mohamed Hassan Irro, the Chairman of the Federal Electoral Implementation Team (FEIT) has vowed to address complaints regarding the ongoing parliamentary elections.
Irro said this on November 27.
The elections for the House of the People (Lower House) seats have kicked off in several parts of the country including Somaliland, Galmudug, and Southwest.
However, several candidates have voiced their concerns regarding the polls.
The FEIT Chairman said that the electoral team had received the complaints, which it would be looking into as soon as possible.
Irro was speaking to the BBC Somali Service on Saturday.
Furthermore, Irro vowed to meet with Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari, a former Speaker of the Lower House.
Jawari has been barred from vying in the ongoing elections.
