Somalia’s Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) has suspended elections for three parliamentary seats in Beledweyne.
FEIT announced the suspension on March 9.
However, FEIT is yet to announce the new date when elections for the three House of the People (Lower House) seats would take place.
As per its statement, FEIT announced that it suspended the polls after receiving complaints from various stakeholders.
