The Federal Electoral Implementation Team (FEIT) has suspended parliamentary elections in Southwest’s HOP#103.
FEIT announced the suspension on November 26.
The suspension follows the complaints raised by former Speaker of the House of the People (Lower House), Mohamed O. Jawari.
Ex-Speaker Jawari said that the polls are “neither transparent nor fair.”
Furthermore, ex-Speaker Jawari indicated in his complaints that the entire process had denied citizens their political rights.
Jawari is the current Member of Parliament (MP) representing HOP#103.
