The Federation of Somali Journalists (FESOJ) has announced plans to train 50 Somali journalists around the country virtually.
FESOJ says the training is scheduled for Saturday this week.
Hassan Barise, a prominent journalist in the country who formerly worked as a correspondent with BBC and AP, is expected to facilitate a topic titled “Conflict and Crises Reporting.”
The training is part of FESOJ’s endeavor to bring local journalists up to speed on the current trends and the changing landscape in reporting on conflicts and crises.
