The Federation of Somalia Trade Unions (FESTU) has called for the increased creation of decent jobs in the country.
FESTU made this call recently during a meeting held between its representatives, George Conway, Dr. Mohamed Elmi, and other stakeholders.
Conway is the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) of the United Nations.
He hosted the dialogue between the different stakeholders.
FESTU took the opportunity to advocate for decent work agenda.
It emphasized the importance of social protection too.
