The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has set the budget for the 2020/21 financial year.
According to figures released by the Ministry of Finance recently, next year’s budget stands at $671.8 million.
The government expects to raise around 39 percent of the budget, which translates to $260 million from revenue collection.
Budgetary support would then account for 25 percent of the funds, which is roughly $170.9 million.
Close to $240.8 million, which is around 36 percent of the budget, would be from funded projects appropriated into the budget.
