Fifty Percent of Somalis Stranded in Sudan Have Left the Country

Fifty percent of Somalis stranded in Sudan have left the war-torn country.

Ahmed Abdi said this during an interview with Radio Muqdisho.

Abdi is the Charge d’Affaires at Somali Embassy in Khartoum.

According to Abdi, half of Somalis in Sudan have left the nation via Ethiopia and South Sudan.

Several of these have already arrived in Somalia.

However, the government reassured the rest of the country that it would evacuate all those stranded in Sudan.
