Fighting erupted on the outskirts of Somalia’s capital on October 11.
Sources in the area confirmed that skirmishes erupted on Monday at Gubadley between different factions of the military.
Forces loyal to Osman Hadole fought with those allied to Colonel Saney Abdulle.
Apparently, they clashed over land disputes.
The exact location where the fighting took place has been identified as outside Karaan’s former Xirgadheere Livestock Market.
Innocent civilians lost their lives during the clashes.
