Somalia’s Minister of Finance met with the United States Embassy Charge d’Affaires on the progress of the economic reforms in the country.
Bihi Egeh, the finance minister, met with Shane Dixon to discuss the progress of economic reform programs in the East African nation.
The meeting between Egeh and Dixon took place on Wednesday in Mogadishu.
Other areas Dixon was briefed on included post-Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPV) status as well as future cooperation between Somalia and the US.
