Dr. Abdirahman Beileh chaired the 54th Somalia Financial Governance Committee (FGC) meeting.
The finance minister chaired the meeting on March 8.
The meeting, which took place virtually, attracted several other stakeholders. They discussed a wide array of issues.
Some of these included financial sector reforms championed by the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS).
They also discussed the latest developments in the petroleum sector.
The drafting of the 2022 FGC report also appeared prominently on their agenda for the day during the Tuesday meeting.
Representatives from the Somali Bureau of Standards (SOBS) were present too.
Arabey Hashi, the Director-General in the federal Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources attended it as well.
