Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, Somalia’s Minister of Finance, held discussions with officials from the United States.
The officials were from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US Embassy in Mogadishu.
Dr. Beileh discussed Somalia’s economic development with the officers who paid him a courtesy call on January 30.
The finance minister assured the US officials that Somalia was making great and clear progress in economic development.
He also took the opportunity to express his gratitude and that of the government to Somalia’s international partners.
