Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, the Minister of Finance, held a meeting with Golaha Shacabka during which they discussed financial reforms in Somalia.
During the meeting, which was held on Tuesday, October 27, Beileh briefed the parliamentary Finance Committee on the status of the reforms.
Moreover, he thanked members of the Committee for supporting the financial and economic reforms that the finance ministry has undertaken in the country.
Somalia’s economic and fiscal reforms have attracted the attention of international partners.
In the last 12 months, the country has witnessed its foreign debt cancelled or reduced significantly by several international donors.
Dr. Beileh urged Golaha Shacabka to strengthen the partnership with the Ministry of Finance to deliver the change that Somalis need.
