Dr. Abdirahman Beileh, the Minister of Finance, says that Somalia’s economic reforms are proceeding well.
Beileh made this pronouncement on December 14 during a virtual meeting with representatives from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
He assured the IMF representatives that the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) remains committed to building on the ongoing reforms.
The finance minister stated that the government would continue carrying out the reforms in consultation with Somalis and the country’s international partners.
