Financial uncertainty has hit defector rehabilitation centers in Somalia.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), which runs the centers, complained of financial uncertainty.
IOM attributes the financial uncertainty to a lack of adequate funding.
The centers experiencing the financial glut are in Mogadishu, Kismayo, and Mogadishu.
The organization, which distributes the funding from international donors, said that the lack of funding could hit operations at the centers massively in 2023.
Interestingly, the lack of finance comes at a time when Somalia has been carrying out an intense fight against terrorism.
