Finland and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) both support the training of new midwives in Somalia.
Through close collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Finland and UNFPA have committed themselves to training new midwives.
They also work closely with the Somali Midwives Association (SOMA) to ensure that the new batch of midwives have the skills needed to provide excellent services.
