Heavy rains in Somalia have damaged more than 1,000 houses in the past few days.
A report from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) shows that 1,143 houses have been reduced to rabble by the rains.
Currently, Somalia is in the midst of the heavy Gu or spring rains.
In its report, OCHA added that the rains have affected 163,400 people in different parts of the country while displacing around 37,120 individuals.
Ar0und 72,000 people in 25 districts in the country have received humanitarian assistance.
