The Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation addressed a huge protest rally attended by thousands of Somalis in Mogadishu today.
Interior Minister Ahmed Fiqi addressed the thousands of protestors who took to the streets to display their displeasure at Ethiopia.
Protestors are angry at the attempts by Ethiopia to control a part of the country.
This follows Ethiopia’s agreement with Somaliland, which was signed on January 1, 2024.
Fiqi led the protestors in denouncing the attempts by Ethiopia to encroach on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Somalia.
Protestors vowed to step up and protect the nation from all forms of aggression.
