Ahmed Fiqi and James Swan held talks on the current security situation in Somalia.
Fiqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted Swan at the ministry’s headquarters in Mogadishu on Sunday.
Their discussions occurred shortly after Swan landed in Somalia.
Swan is the Acting Special Representative of the United Nations for Somalia.
He is also the Acting Head of the UN Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM).
Apart from security, Fiqi and Swan also spoke about the political climate in the East African nation.
