Ahmed Mohamed Fiqi is off to Jeddah for an extraordinary meeting of the Oil Importing Countries (OIC).
Fiqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, left for the Saudi Arabia city on Tuesday.
Several matters will be discussed in the OIC meeting.
These include the ongoing Israeli attacks against Palestinians in Gaza and the sovereignty of Iran.
Participants will also delve into discussions on ways of fostering regional stability between member nations.
