The first fully Somali-owned bank has been unveiled in Ethiopia.
President Mustafe M. Omer of the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia unveiled the bank – Shabelle Bank – on January 30.
While launching it, President Omer urged the owners to demonstrate unshakeable commitment to drive the bank to the desired success.
Further, he encouraged the bank’s management to display competency at all times.
President Omer urged the public to support the bank fully too.
He expressed his belief and hope that the bank would succeed and transform the lives of the population.
