Saynab Abdi Moalim, Somalia’s First Lady, has launched a campaign geared towards supporting people with disabilities in the country.
The First Lady launched the campaign on December 12.
On Sunday, she donated several mobility aids to people with disabilities through her Zeinab Moalim Foundation (ZMF).
Her foundation worked closely with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) to donate the wheelchairs and other similar mobility aids to the needy.
Mehmet Yilmaz, the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, and Ilhami Turus, the TIKA Somalia Coordinator, attended the event.
