He is in the area as part of his tour of the five Federal Member States (FMS) to discuss and solve the elections impasse.
Three senior military officers lost their lives in the incident.
A former Mayor of Galkayo also lost his life in Friday’s attack.
On Saturday, December 19, the foreign affairs minister visited all those who were injured in the brutal attack.
