Former Acting Premier Inspects Aden Adde International Airport

Mahdi M. Gulaid, Somalia’s former Acting Prime Minister, inspected the progress of the expansion project being undertaken at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.

During his inspection tour, which took place on Tuesday September 22, Gulaid met with several senior officials from the Ministry of Transport and Aviation.

He was also briefed by officers from the Aden Adde International Airport.

The airport, which is the largest and busiest in the country, was earmarked for expansion by the Federal Government of Somalia with funding from a few international partners.

Gulaid expressed delight at the progress of the expansion project.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to improving the infrastructure in the country to boost domestic and international travel.
