A former Somali Ambassador to the United States has said that he is unable to return to the East African nation freely.
Abdullahi Ahmed Adow made these claims on February 7.
In ex-Ambassador Adow’s estimates, the prevailing political situation makes it impossible for him to return to Somalia.
Adow made these utterances during an interview with the Voice of America (VOA) in Washington.
In the past, Adow has submitted his candidature for the presidential elections in Somalia.
It is not yet clear whether he would vie in the presidential polls expected to take place soon in the Horn of Africa nation.
Adow called for fast solutions to ensure that normalcy is restored in Somalia soon by holding elections in the nation.
