A former Mayor of Mogadishu has passed away.
Ex-Mayor Col. Osman Mohamed Jelle died on Thursday.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud led the nation I’m mourning Jelle.
He sent a message of condolences to the friends and family of Jelle.
The deceased is also a former military officer.
Jelle has served as a diplomat and Minister of Livestock too.
