Former Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire joined Somalis in mourning the death of a highly celebrated and iconic musician.
Seynab Ali Siigale Baxsan passed away on October 19.
Since then, several leaders in the country have been sending messages of condolences to her family, friends, and fans.
Khaire joined other mourners in sending condolences to the people of Somalia and members of the arts community.
He hailed Siigale as a musician who played a critical role in the country’s development.
Furthermore, Khaire also hailed the deceased musician for playing a central role in fighting for the development of the country’s arts.
He urged fellow Somalis to follow her example by using their God-given talents to raise public awareness on different issues.
