A former Russian Ambassador to Somalia is dead.
Reports indicate that Sergei Kuznetsov passed away on January 17, 2021 in Moscow.
It is not yet clear what caused his death.
Kuznetsov died away while serving as the Russian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He has been based in the UAE from April 2019.
He also represented Russia in Jeddah where he was the Consul General.
