A former Minister of Internal Security invited three current leaders of the Federal Member States (FMS) and an ex-Prime Minister.
Mohamed Abukar Islow Duale, a former internal security minister, had invited President Ali Gudlawe (HirShabelle) and President Ahmed Islam Madobe (Jubaland) to the function.
President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor of Galmudug was at the dinner too.
Apart from the three regional state leaders, he also hosted ex-Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire.
It’s not yet clear what these current and former leaders discussed during their dinner on the night of August 25.
Currently, Somalia is on an electioneering mood.
Elections for Upper House seats have already taken place at the regional state level. Next up are the parliamentary and presidential elections.
