A former cabinet minister in the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) has urged Qatar to stop supporting President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo.
Khadra Dualeh, who once served FGS as the Minister of Commerce and Industry, made this appeal to Qatar on November 29.
She spoke as President Farmaajo traveled to Doha, Qatar for a two-day official visit.
Dualeh praised the humility, kindness, and hospitality of the Qataris with whom she worked for over eight years.
The former minister urged Qatar not to support Farmaajo and Fahad Yasin, the immediate former Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA).
She accused both Farmaajo and Yasin of destabilizing Somalia.
Farmaajo is in Qatar at the invitation of Emir His Highness Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
