Ex-President Hassan Sheikh has termed the handling of the electoral process by the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) as “totally unacceptable.”
Previously, Sheikh had indicated that he would be adding his name to the list of candidates vying in the presidential elections scheduled for February 2021.
However, he has been a huge critic of the FGS.
Consequently, his comments indicate that he might not take part in the upcoming polls.
A few days ago, ex-President Sheikh blasted the inclusion of civil servants and National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) representatives in the Federal Electoral Commission.
He promised a huge meeting involving different political players to discuss the current situation around the country.
