A former Senator in Somalia’s Upper House claims that officials from the spy agency fired at his car.
Ex-Senator Ilyas Ali Hassan made the claims on Monday.
According to him, officers from the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) opened fire on his car on April 25.
Hassan claims the officers did so without any justification for their actions.
“I’m shocked why the NISA officers shot at my car multiple times,” Hassan said.
He adds that his car is now destroyed after that incident.
Ex-Senator Hassan also indicated that the NISA officers who attacked his car did so by using DShK 1938 machine gun.
