Former Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed has expressed deep concern over the ongoing and escalating clan-based conflicts across Somalia.
He emphasized the pressing challenges posed by these disputes and pointed to the “inability” of the nation’s armed forces to adequately address such critical societal issues.
Highlighting the destabilizing effects of these conflicts, he stressed the urgent need for comprehensive resolution efforts on a national scale.
Ex-President Ahmed also advocated for immediate interventions to restore peace and cohesion in the country.
